Stranded colorwork, or fair isle, is my favorite thing to knit and create designs for. I love the process of creating a colorwork chart. Stranded knitting is a fun way to show your creativity and create unique knit pieces. The possibilities are endless with colorwork knits.
I have 30+ fair isle patterns available. Many of them are even available for free! Today I want to share 6 of my colorwork knit scrunchy patterns and where to find them.

1: Simple Speckle Scrunchy
The simple speckle scrunchy is a great beginner-friendly stranded colorwork pattern. The colorwork chart is an easy repeat, so it's great for anyone just learning how to knit using the stranded colorwork method. This scrunchy is also completely customizable to your style. You can swap out both colors to best suit your wardrobe. It would look great in more neutral colors for an everyday scrunchy.
The simple speckle scrunchy is available on my Etsy, Ravelry, and Ribblr.
2: Leopard Print Scrunchy
The leopard print scrunchy is great for anyone who wants to add a subtle yet bold statement to their outfit. I love the bold print of the leopard scrunchy, but it's still neutral colors, so it blends nicely with any outfit. You could also use any yarn color to make this stranded colorwork scrunchy pop even more.
The leopard print scrunchy is available for FREE on my blog and my Ribblr, and for purchase on my Etsy and Ravelry.
3: Spring Chevron Scrunchy
The spring chevron scrunchy is one of my most customizable colorwork knitting patterns because there are three colors that can be replaced with any color of your choice. This scrunchy is the perfect knit pattern for spring because of the colors I chose to design it, but it would also look amazing with any three colors you pick. I love the idea of a fall-themed scrunchy with muted colors or a Christmas-themed scrunchy with red, white, and green yarn. The possibilities are endless with this scrunchy!
The spring chevron scrunchy pattern is available on my Etsy, Ravelry, and Ribblr.
4: Cow Print Scrunchy
The cow print scrunchy is my favorite of all of the scrunchies. I might be biased, though, because cows are my favorite animal. I just adore cow print, and my entire cow print collection is no different. Much like the leopard print scrunchy, the cow print scrunchy is a bold print in muted colors. With the black and white colors, it goes with any outfit. Instead of black and white yarn, you could use brown and white yarn for a different variation.
The cow print scrunchy is available for free on my blog or for purchase on my Ravelry, Etsy, and Ribblr.
5: Summer Daisy Scrunchy
With bright colors and a floral design, the summer daisy scrunchy is the perfect stranded colorwork knitting pattern for summer. I love the brightness of this scrunchy in yellow yarn, but you can also use any colors you want for this pattern. The daisy design is subtle but still adds a fun touch of character to the scrunchy.
The summer daisy scrunchy is available on my Etsy, Ravelry, and Ribblr.
6: Heart Print Scrunchy
Last but not least is the heart print scrunchy. This scrunchy is a great knitting pattern for beginners. The heart print colorwork pattern is a simple repeat and is easy to follow. The scrunchy makes a great Valentine's Day project, but it is also great for all year round. I love the subtle print of the pink hearts against the white background. the heart print is one of my favorite colorwork designs because of its simplicity.
The heart print scrunchy is available on my Etsy, Ravelry, and Ribblr.
