About The CrafteeManatee

Hi! My name is Megan, and I am the designer behind Craftee Manatee. I love all things knitting and crochet! Like so many others, during the COVID 19 lockdown I decided to pick up a hobby to pass the time. I decided on knitting, and actually used some random yarn in the house and two pencils to learn. By watching youtube videos and researching endlessly, I picked it up pretty quickly. Fast forward to today, and I am knitting or crocheting constantly. Any free time I have is spent with yarn.

I absolutely love designing patterns. I love randomly coming up with an idea out of the blue and frantically trying to figure out how to make it. Honestly, I don't have a niche when it comes to crochet and knitting. I love learning new things with every pattern I create.

The name Craftee Manatee came from my love of manatees. They are my second favorite animal right behind cows. I know... weird favorite animals, but they're just so cute!
